Parents and educators know that children with special needs have gifts and talents—it’s just a matter of unleashing their full potential, and making sure that their parents and teachers have the right information, tools and support to help them.

A key strategy at the Redmond Early Learning Center (RELC) is increasing “Inclusive Practices.” This means that whenever possible, kindergarten students receive additional services within the classroom, alongside their peers. Specialists and kindergarten teachers work together, within the classroom to provide Specially Designed Instruction (SDI), when doing so provides the support students need to support kindergarten students meeting their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals.  

The Redmond Early Learning Center (RELC), has a wonderful team of specialists to support students with specials needs. This team includes the following special education professionals:

• Special Education Teacher (2)
• Speech and Language Pathologist
• School Psychologist
